Al Adams

My wife, Linda, and I married in 1985, the same year we moved into our house in Westmont. We have one adult daughter, Kelly, who lives in Columbia, Missouri. We started attending Avenue in 2006, the same year I started to serve in the First Impressions Ministry. I joined the staff
part-time in 2020 as the financial administrator. I also enjoy leading a life group of godly men weekly. A fun fact about me is that my mom wanted to name me Adrian, but my dad sad no. So, they compromised on Alan, which happened to be a common Jewish spelling. Recently I found out through “23 and me” that I am about 7 % Ashkenazi Jewish which are prevalent in Eastern Europe from where my grandparents emigrated and can possibly be traced back to the tribe of Levi.
