I was born in Mexico, raised in Wyoming and received my call to Christian ministry when I was 15 years old on the farm. I came to Chicago to prepare for ministry and there met an amazing young lady
(Joy) who later became my wife in the summer of 1995. We’ve been in full time ministry together for our entire marriage and have done church planting in both English and Spanish churches. I’ve had the honor of serving here at Avenue since the summer of 2013. Joy and I have one adult daughter who is very artistic and has a beautiful singing voice. My deepest desire in life is to help people fall madly in love with Jesus Christ! Fun Fact: I love camping with my wife and we’ve built a “camper-van” that has allowed us to travel from coast to coast!
